Some plans are built to be seen. Streak counters, progress bars, a public record of who showed up and who didn’t.
This one isn’t.
There’s no account tracking your completion percentage. No badge for a hundred days straight. No visible gap when you miss a week.
That’s not an oversight.
Being watched changes behavior, and not always for the better. People start reading for the tracker instead of for the text. Or they miss one day, feel like the streak is ruined, and quietly stop altogether rather than face a broken number.
Remove the audience and both problems go away.
You read because it’s Tuesday and Proverbs 13 is what today calls for. Not because anyone’s keeping score.
If you skip a week, there’s nothing to reset. You rejoin where we are, same as always.
No one’s watching. Read it anyway.
