It doesn’t happen every day, but every now and then people ask how they can support His Word Together.
Let me start with this:
There’s no requirement for anyone to pay to use the site.
It was conceived as a free service.
That said, it’s not free to run — and it gets more expensive (and time-consuming) as more people subscribe.
One example is the services I use to stay compliant with email and privacy laws (CAN-SPAM, etc.), which charge based on the number of subscribers.
But it’s not expensive to run today.
If I never receive anything, that’s fine — at least at this point.
You don’t even have to subscribe to use the site.
Surprisingly, that doesn’t satisfy everyone.
So if you want to support the effort, it’s appreciated — but in no way required.
One other thing worth mentioning:
From time to time, a mid-week post may mention a book, product, or resource that’s for sale.
Some of those links may earn a commission. Or they may be something being sold by me directly.
Those posts are occasional, not the point of the site, and always optional.
If something looks useful to you, great. If not, skip it and keep reading.
Here are three ways you can do that (if you so choose):
1) Buy a Bible (or anything else) through
Amazon
There’s a “Buy a Bible” link on the homepage (and also right here).
If you click it and purchase a Bible — or anything else — Amazon pays me a small commission (the amount depends on the item).
It doesn’t change your price at all.
2) Sign up for my professional blog
It’s free too, but from time to time I’ll share products or resources that earn commissions (some through Amazon, some not).
There’s a lot of free content there, which I think is entertaining as well.
And if you don’t like it? Just unsubscribe.
And if you ever need a good real estate broker in North Texas… well, you know who to call.
3) Paid Subscriptions
(these aren’t available today, but will be soon)
There are two optional support tiers here:
Gold – $10/month
Platinum – $50/month
To be totally up front: there aren’t any perks that come with either one right now.
There could be in the future, but for now it’s just a way to support the site if you want to.
A few housekeeping notes:
His Word Together isn’t affiliated with any church and isn’t a nonprofit organization.
It’s just a regular business entity — not created to make a lot of money, but any money it does get is taxed like any other company.
So, just to be clear:
Anything you send or pay to His Word Together is not tax deductible.
That’s the whole story.
No pressure. No guilt.
But if you do support the site, thank you — it genuinely helps.
Now quit worrying about paying me and get back to reading!
