Proverbs has 31 chapters. The plan runs on the day of the month, so you end up reading the whole book about once a month, every month, all year. That’s not a workaround for running out of content. It’s the point.
The first time through, a lot of it reads like general advice. Work hard, watch your mouth, don’t trust every voice you hear. Fine, sure, noted. By the fourth or fifth pass it starts landing differently, not because the text changed but because you have, a little, since the last time you read it.
One read-through doesn’t do that. Repetition gives a chapter room to catch you at a different point in your own life than it did last time.
That’s what this plan is actually banking on. Not one dramatic pass through the book, but a dozen ordinary ones.
