The Year Isn’t Over Yet

It’s easy to write off the rest of the year once the holidays show up on the calendar. Two months left, everything feels like it’s winding down, easy to mentally check out until January.

The reading plan doesn’t work that way. There’s no final exam in December. No grade based on how the year went.

Whatever the last ten months looked like, the next two still count exactly the same as any other two months. Same chapter of Proverbs. Same four weekly readings. Nothing about them is worth less because the year is almost over.

If you’ve been consistent, keep going. If you’ve had a rough stretch, this is a fine time to rejoin. Not because the calendar demands it. Because today is available, same as always.

The plan resets in January either way. What you do with the time between now and then is still up to you.
